Poison the Well and Converge, who both helped define ’90s and 2000s metalcore, both released new albums this year — Poison the Well’s Peace in Place is their first LP in 17 years, and Converge’s Love Is Not Enough is their first proper album in 9 years, plus they have another on the way — and they began a tour together earlier this month. They stopped in NYC on Friday (4/10) for a show at Knockdown Center, which was with West Coast hardcore punks Spy and Connecticut death-y metalcore crew Balmora. The tour resumes after the Las Vegas edition of Sick New World (which Poison the Well plays but not Converge) and continues through mid-May, and you can see all remaining dates below.
