A founding member of new wave greats The B-52s, Cindy Wilson just released a solo EP, Sunrise, that in addition to three originals, features covers of Broadcast and Junior Senior (stream it below). Cindy celebrated the release on Wednesday (12/7) at Brooklyn Bazaar and, while she didn’t perform an B-52s songs, Fred Schneider was in the house for moral support.
Kristin Kontrol, who plays NYC next week, DJ’d the night which also featured a performance from Jennifer Vanilla. Pictures from the show, as well as a few backstage portraits, are in the gallery above.
