Nilüfer Yanya played Brooklyn Steel with Lutalo & Eliza McLamb (pics, setlist)

Nilüfer Yanya recently began her fall tour supporting her great third album My Method Actor, and she stopped in NYC on Tuesday night (10/1) for a show at Brooklyn Steel. She played a good chunk of the new album, which sounded hypnotic live, with saxophone from Jazzi Bobbi a particular highlight. She also included a bunch of songs off 2022’s fantastic PAINLESS, and began the encore with her rendition of PJ Harvey’s “Rid of Me,” a song she often covers live, before ending the night with “Midnight Sun.” See her setlist below.
