Irish singer/songwriter Lisa Hannigan is on tour now in support of her great 2016 album At Swim, her first since 2011’s Passenger and her first produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner. The tour hit NYC last night (2/20) for a sold-out show at Bowery Ballroom, where Lisa talked about recording the album with Aaron in upstate NY and how being back in the region held fond memories for her. She also cracked a joke about how she was disappointed that “Snow” didn’t quite have the relevance she thought it might, given that she was playing in NYC during February.
