Julia Holter / Mary Lattimore @ Bowery Ballroom 2/23/2016
It was cold and drizzly on Tuesday night (2/23) but Julia Holter made Bowery Ballroom warm and inviting for the NYC stop on her current tour. With her ace band (including saxophonist Danny Meyer) and pristine sound, it was a magical set highlighting most of 2015’s terrific Have You In My Wilderness, but touching on her other albums as well. She also performed her lovely cover of Bacharach/David’s “Don’t Make Me Over” (made famous by Dionne Warwick). Great show. Setlist is below.
