Indie vets Spoon and Grizzly Bear are currently on a co-headlining tour in continued support of their very good 2017 albums, Hot Thoughts and Painted Ruins, respectively. Having played the Capitol Theatre just outside of NYC on Tuesday (6/19), they made their way to Brooklyn for a BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival show in Prospect Park last night (6/20). Grizzly Bear played the exact same setlist as the night before (just with the order of two songs flipped), and Spoon played a lot of the same stuff, but changed it up a bit, working in “The Fitted Shirt,” “Don’t You Evah,” and “Got Nuffin,” which weren’t played at the Cap. Experimental pop artist Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith opened. Pictures are in the gallery above, and setlists for Spoon and GB are below.
