One of the first — and best — groups to hybridize punk, funk and ska, Fishbone still do it better than most. They also remain a ton of fun live, as witnessed at their show aboard the Rocks Off Concert Cruise in NYC on Wednesday (8/30) that included favorites such as “Party at Ground Zero,” “Everyday Sunshine,” “Lyin’ Ass Bitch,” “Bonin’ in the Boneyard” and their cover of Curtis Mayfield’s “Freddy’s Dead.” Setlist is below.
Fishbone’s tour hits Riot Fest in Chicago in a couple weeks where they’ll play their great 1988 album Truth & Soul in full.
