Father John Misty finished up this three-show NYC run on May 12 with his second night at Brooklyn Steel with Adam Green. Like at BK Steel the night before (and Kings Theatre before that), he brought his new album Pure Comedy to widescreen life, courtesy a 15-or-so-piece band that included a string and horn section, not to mention a very impressive light show. Setlist was pretty similar to the previous shows and you can check that out below, and pictures from the show are in the gallery above.
While in town, FJM stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform “Total Entertainment Forever” and you can watch that below. He’ll be back later this summer to play Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on September 14 with Phosphorescent (tickets).
