Fat Dog ripped up TV Eye with MKULTRA (pics)

South London band Fat Dog are wrapping up their fall North American tour this week with shows in San Francisco (10/29) and Los Angeles (10/30) in support of their debut album, WOOF. The band hit NYC’s TV Eye last week for a wild and wooly show where they whipped the crowd into a giddy frenzy with their anything goes mix of punk, ska, postpunk, and synth-rock. Frontman Joe Love really worked the crowd, whether he was on stage, in the pit, or conducting a little audience participation.

Lip Critic were originally supposed to open the show but had to cancel, though the band’s Connor Kleitz did end up DJing before and between bands. MKULTRA opened instead. Photos from the night by Kevin McGann are in this post.
