Electric Wizard / crowd @ Webster Hall – 4/2/15
UK doom legends Electric Wizard brought their first North American tour in over a decade to NYC last night (4/2) for a Webster Hall show that unsurprisingly sold out well in advance. Electric Wizard have released four albums since their last NYC show, and last night’s set was split between the most recent three (Time to Die, Black Masses and Witchcult Today), as well as a few from the timeless Come My Fanatics… and Dopethrone. The only played nine songs, but they stretch them out maaan, and the whole show was as heavy and psychedelic as you’d hope.
