Charley Crockett is on tour for his new album $10 Cowboy, and he played Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on Thursday (6/6). With charisma and guitar chops to spare, Charley played all of the new album, lots of older songs and threw in covers, too, including Waylon Jennings’ “Good Hearted Woman” and Tanya Tucker’s “The Jamestown Ferry.” He also played a new song.
Kelsey Waldon opened the night, and her style is very much in the same vein as Charley’s, and made for a great start to the show. Photos from the whole night P Squared, along with Charley’s setlist, are in this post.
Charley’s tour hits NYC proper at Brooklyn Paramount on July 20.
