Democracy Now! celebrated its 30th anniversary with an NYC event on Monday night (3/23) at Riverside Church. Bruce Springsteen (who performed his new anti-ICE song “Streets of Minneapolis,”), Michael Stipe and Aaron Dessner (playing their Big Red Machine collaboration “No Time for Love Like Now”), Patti Smith and Tony Shanahan (“Peaceable Kingdom”) and Hurray for the Riff Raff (“Pa’lante”) were among those who performed, and Patti closed things out by leading everyone in a rendition of “People Have the Power.”

The event streamed live, and you can watch the whole thing, and see pictures by Sachyn Mital, below.
