Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy is on a solo tour supporting his acclaimed 2018 album WARM, and he stopped in NYC for two nights at Town Hall on Monday (4/8) and Tuesday (4/9) nights. Mixing solo material, including plenty from WARM, with Wilco classics like “Jesus, Etc,” “I Am Trying to Break Your Heart,” and “Hummingbird,” Jeff also included a couple of Uncle Tupelo songs in his sets, as well as a song each from two older projects, Golden Smog and Loose Fur. On Tuesday night, he covered (not for the first time) Mavis Staples’ “You Are Not Alone,” a song he produced, as well.
