Apparently President Barack Obama’s visit to SXSW made quite an impression, as it’s been announced that the President will be playing host to a SXSW-inspired micro festival of his own on the White House lawn. The fest, like SXSW, will feature music, film, and interactive components, and will go down on October 3. In order to attend, you need to be nominated or nominate yourself via a form on the White House website.

Meanwhile, continuing his run as the most internet-savvy president of all time, it was also recently announced that President Obama would be acting as guest editor of Wired magazine for that publication’s November issue.
