Weezer share 5 previously unreleased 1995 BBC session tracks from upco

Weezer are releasing a deluxe 30th anniversary edition of their debut album (aka the Blue Album) with tons of previously unreleased tracks. Among the bonus material is a BBC radio session the band recorded while on tour in the UK in January 1995. “My Name Is Jonas,” “In The Garage,” “No One Else” and “Surf Wax America” were recorded for the BBC Evening Sessions, and this marks the first time they’ve been officially available on CD or vinyl; there’s also an acoustic version of “Buddy Holly” that was recorded for Greater London Radio but never actually aired. The Blue Album 30th Anniversary Edition is out November 1 via Geffen/UME (preorder) and Weezer are on the road now, playing the Blue Album in full as part of their tour with The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr.
