Country artist Luke Combs had a hit last year with his cover of Tracy Chapman‘s classic 1988 track “Fast Car,” which got him a nomination for Best Country Solo Performance (he lost to Chris Stapleton). Performing it at the Grammys, he brought out Tracy and they performed it together as a duet for the first time. It was Chapman’s first public appearance in a few years, since she performed “Talkin’ ‘Bout a Revolution” on Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2020, and you can watch a couple of video clips below.
