We lost Sharon Jones this year to cancer, and memorials were held this month in Brooklyn and Georgia. Her music lives on, and a great way to remember her amazing spirit this time of year is with her and the Dap Kings’ It’s A Holiday Soul Party! LP from last year. A claymation video was made for “Please Come Home for Christmas” from it, created before her death, which they have released today. It’s sweet, and more than a little bittersweet, and we wish Sharon was here for Christmas. Watch the video, you may get a little choked up, though, above.
