St. Vincent‘s excellent 2017 album MASSEDUCTION is very fleshed out and heavy on electronics and her current live show is very beat-centric too, but Annie Clark has been taking a few opportunities to strip the MASSEDUCTION songs down for acoustic performances, like on BBC Radio 1 and The Daily Show.
She just did it again for an NPR Tiny Desk Concert, where she performed “New York,” “Los Ageless,” and “Slow Disco.” These versions succeed in a different way than the album versions, and they’re just as worth hearing. Watch the video below.
