Watch Pavement play “Elevate Me Later” for the first time in 13 years at Brooklyn Steel Night 3 (setlist, video)

A year and a half into their reunion tour and Pavement are still throwing a few curveballs. At the penultimate show of their four-night run at Brooklyn Steel, they threw in Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain nugget “Elevate Me Later,” which was a regular player on their 2010 reunion tour, but made its debut this time around. Watch video of that below.

Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain was favored the most on Night 3, with “Cut Your Hair,” “Gold Soundz,” “Range Life,” “Stop Breathin,” and “Unfair” all played, while they pulled out five each from Brighten the Corners and Wowee Zowee, four from Slanted and Enchanted, and two from Terror Twilight, plus streaming hit “Harness Your Hopes” and a few other loosies. Check out the Night 3 setlist and lots of fan-shot video below.

Stephen Malkmus and co wrap up their Brooklyn Steel run tonight with Pavement-adjacent supergroup Prison opening (sold out). It will be their last headline show for the foreseeable future, with an appearance at The National’s Homecoming festival this weekend being the capper to a surprisingly long reunion tour.

Check out recaps / setlists / pics of Night 1 and Night 2 of Pavement’s Brooklyn Steel run.
