MJ Lenderman was joined by Waxahatchee‘s Katie Crutchfield for “She’s Leaving You” off his excellent new album Manning Fireworks at ANTI-‘s AMERICANAFEST showcase at The Basement East last week – watch video of that below.
Katie, whose own great new album Tigers Blood features Lenderman on multiple songs and who brought Lenderman out during her set at the same festival, made a surprise appearance to sing the song’s harmonies, filling in for Lenderman’s Wednesday bandmate Karly Hartzman, who sings on the album version and frequently joins him at shows.
