Kacey Musgraves has been on tour supporting last year’s excellent (and Grammy Album of the Year-winning) album Golden Hour, and last night (2/27) she began her sold-out four-night run at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. At the show, Kacey brought out hometown Nashvillian Hayley Williams of Paramore to collaborate on a cover of “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” and needless to say, it was pretty awesome. Watch video of the cover below.
In addition to cleaning up at the Grammys, Kacey presented Best Song nominees Gillian Welch and David Rawlings’ performance at the Oscars this past weekend.
Kacey plays three more nights at the Ryman this week, and she also plays Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Coachella, Newport Folk Fest, and more. All dates here.
