boygenius just wrapped up the European and UK leg of their tour on Monday (8/28) in Dublin, and while they were in the area, they stopped in London for Billie Eilish‘s Electric Ballroom show tonight (8/29). The intimate show (the venue holds 1500 people) was announced only a few days earlier, and followed Billie’s sets at Reading and Leeds Festival. Towards the end of the set, Billie brought out all three of them, Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, to join her on When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? track “when the party’s over.” They sound fantastic harmonizing together, and when they left the stage, Billie said, “I’m in love with all three of them, truly,” Pitchfork points out. Watch attendee-taken video below.
boygenius recently brought out Turnstile‘s Brendan Yates and Viagra Boys‘ Sebastian Murphy to join them on “Satanist” during their Rock en Seine set. Earlier at the festival, Turnstile brought Julien out for “Underwater Boi,” too.
