Louisville noise-punk outfit Anwar Sadat are readying a new album, their official follow-up to 2013’s Gold LP. The new one is called Ersatz Living and it’s due to drop in November via Broken World Media. To get you all ready for that, we’re pleased to premiere the video for “Todestrieb,” the first piece of music released from the new album.
The highly NSFW video is a violent delight for fans of b-movie horror. Directed by guitarist Clay Ferris, it mostly revolves around a naked chainsaw battle in a garishly lit basement. It’s got actual style for days, and it matches the song perfectly, which is a queasily furious piece of noise that unsettles as thoroughly as it amps you up.
