UK synthpop group Virginia Wing are back with their second album, Forward Constant Motion, which will be released November 11 via Fire. Having condensed from a trio to a duo since releasing their debut album (one of my 2014 favorites), Merida Richards and Sam Pillay have also further refined Virginia Wing’s chilly sound that skitters just above the ice, just out of reach, across an alien landscape. Says Pillay, “We wanted this record to expand in every direction: the poppy parts are poppier, the weird parts are weirder, hopefully.” You can check out two songs off the LP — “ESP Offline” and “Grapefruit” — as well as album art and tracklist, below.
