Vanilla Ice

Vanilla Ice was among the passengers aboard Emirates Flight 203 from Dubai who were quarantined upon landing at John F. Kennedy Airport in Queens on Wednesday (9/5). As NBC reports, of the 521 people on board the flight, around 100 said they felt sick, and 10 were taken to the hospital; a Jamaica Hospital spokesperson told NBC the affected patients were “experiencing headache, sore throat, coughs and fever,” and the flu is suspected.

Vanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Matthew Van Winkle, was not taken ill, and he posted to Twitter about the scene aboard the plane. “This is crazy,” he wrote. “Apparently there is over 100 people sick on the bottom floor, so happy I’m up top, it’s a double-decker plane 380.” One person replied,”Don’t they know that “if there’s a problem, YO” you’ll “solve it!.”
