Tune-Yards‘ third album, 2014’s Nikki Nack, turned 10 this year, and they’ll celebrate by giving it a deluxe reissue. Nikki Nack 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition is due out (digitally) on August 9 via 4AD, and includes four new tracks. You can hear one of them, the Water From Your Eyes remix of “Water From Your Fountain,” below.
Molly Styslinger and bandleader Merill Garbus also designed a 28-page zine, Nikki Nack: Behind the Behind of the Album, about its creation. It features behind-the-scenes photos, handwritten notes, scans of Merrill’s original lyric journal, and more, and you can see the cover art below.
Tune-Yards most recent release was their 2023 soundtrack to Boots Riley’s Amazon series I’m a Virgo, their second collaboration with The Coup’s Boots Riley.
