Back in December TR/ST, the musical alter ego of Robert Alfons, announced he’d signed to Dais Records and released “Robrash,” his first song in four years. Now he’s surprise-released a self-titled EP featuring collaborations with Scissor Sisters‘ Jake Shears, Joel Ford, producer Nick Launay and Cecile Believe.
The EP opens with “Robrash” and includes three other new TR/ST originals, plus a cover of Pet Shop Boys’ classic “Being Boring” that is a duet with Jake Shears. You can listen to that and the whole EP below.
Alfons says he’s working on a new TR/ST album that will “Bigger, better, beautiful, and buried in mud.” He’ll also play the 2024 Cruel World Festival in May.
