TMZ says these are the Coachella 2025 headliners

UPDATE: The full lineup has arrived.

Speculation about the Coachella lineup usually comes to a peak right at the beginning of the new year, as that’s when it typically drops, but this year things have gotten started early as Post Malone revealed, with the announcement of his 2025 stadium tour, that he’ll be headlining. The tour flyer posted to his Instagram includes Indio, CA on April 13 and 20 (both Sundays), and Rolling Stone also confirmed the news.

There’s also a new report from TMZ, who say they’ve been told by sources “with direct knowledge of the festival’s next lineup” that Travis Scott will return to headline Saturday for his first Coachella set since 2017. He was previously going to headline in 2020, which didn’t happen because of the pandemic, and then he was pulled from the 2022 lineup following the events at Astroworld 2021.

TMZ say that Lady Gaga and Green Day will be the other 2025 headliners. It would be Green Day’s first time playing Coachella, and it would mark Lady Gaga’s return, following her headlining 2017 set. Green Day also headline the Friday of Daytona Beach’s Welcome to Rockville in May.

And what does Hits Daily Double, frequently a reliable source of Coachella reports, have to say? In a “Rumor Mill” post on Tuesday (11/19), they write, “Reports point to Green Day and Lady Gaga taking other top slots in the desert, but securing this caliber of talent has become more difficult in recent years.” They also mention TMZ‘s reporting on Travis.

UPDATE: Rolling Stone is now also reporting that Green Day will headline, and Travis Scott will “perform during a special guest slot.”

There’s been no word from Coachella itself yet, but they did clear their Instagram account of all posts on Tuesday except one with this year’s dates, and shared a story of palm trees swaying in the breeze. Stay tuned.
