The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die already released a split with Rozwell Kid on Broken World this year, and they still have a new full length coming on Epitaph, but first they’re releasing the 2-song Death to New Years 7″ next week (7/24) on Topshelf. TWIABP’s strongest point has always been their ability to approach ’90s-style emo with the expansiveness of chamber pop, and both of these songs demonstrate that really well. They’ve put out a handful of releases since their 2013 debut LP, Whenever, If Ever, and this is probably my favorite one since then. Listen below.
TWIABP are beginning a tour soon, with Pianos Become the Teeth, Turnover and Take One Car. That hits NYC on August 22 at Le Poisson Rouge (tickets).
