The Veils will soon be back with Total Depravity, out August 24 via Nettwerk. The record, their fifth (and first in three years), was co-produced by El-P, as well as Adam “Atom” Greenspan & Nick Launay (who produced Nux Vomica) and Veils frontman Finn Andrews. You can listen to the album’s opening track “Axolotl” which is one of the El-P productions and definitely brings a grand guignol flavor to The Veils’ melodrama. No U.S. tour dates for The Veils right now, but you can see them in David Lynch’s new Twin Peaks series…whenever that airs (2017 we hear).
