Coheed & Cambria‘s Claudio Sanchez is taking his solo folktronica The Prize Fighter Inferno on its first ever tour later this month, and he’s now shared a new single from the project, “Virtual Pioneers.” “‘Virtual Pioneers’ is a song I wrote and recorded on the road after reading Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin,” Sanchez says. “Pioneers, a game created to heal and reconnect two friends, was a touching concept and a driving source of the song’s inspiration.”
He’s also shared a reimagined version of My Brother’s Blood Machine track “The Going Price for Home.” Hear both new songs below, and pre-order the limited webstore 7″.
The tour begins in Washington DC on February 17 and includes an NYC show at Webster Hall on February 20 with carobae. See all dates below.
