Post-hardcore/noise rock legends The Jesus Lizard reunited for their first time since 2009 to play some shows, including Chicago’s Metro, NYC’s Irving Plaza, and finally Houston’s Day for Night festival, which they played last night (12/17). Before going into their last song of the set, David Yow said “this is our last song and the last song we’ll ever play.” So it looks like this might be it for The Jesus Lizard… unless they return again in nine years.
Check out a picture of their setlist from Day for Night, along with a few other pics and videos from the fest, below.
Review of Day for Night day 2 is HERE. Stay tuned for more coverage of the festival.

David Yow closing the Jesus Lizard set at DFN: (slurring) I bet you a dollar this is the last song we ever play. Surfs across the crowd and disappears.
