The Cure played a special album release show at London’s Troxy on November 1 to celebrate Songs of a Lost World, their first album in 16 years. The full-album performance, which opened the three-hour show, has now been made into a live album, Songs of a Live World, which will be out on vinyl, CD and cassette on Valentine’s Day 2025. Robert Smith mixed the album himself and all proceeds from Songs Of A Live World: Troxy London MMXXIV will benefit War Child.
Last week, The Cure released the A Fragile Thing EP featuring a remix of the title track and the Troxy live version, which should give you a taste of what the live album should sound like. Check that out below.
