After premiering it during a DJ set at Primavera Sound in June, Tame Impala have officially released their new single. It’s titled “End of Summer” and is the band’s first new music in five and a half years as well as their first release for Columbia Records. Says Kevin Parker, “A new era begins. This is the first thing I want you guys to hear. I give you End Of Summer.” With an incessant kick drum running through the whole thing, this trancey track is a literal banger.
