Supergrass confirm reunion

It’s official: Supergrass are back. After reports they’d reform next year for the 25th anniversary of their debut album, I Should Coco, the band have confirmed the news. Gaz Combes posted an Instagram video today featuring the band rehearsing, snippets of Supergrass classics (“Strange Ones,” “Alright”) and ending with the hashtag #Supergrass2020. He has since posted this, “Hi everyone, as you may have heard I’m taking a break between albums to join my Supergrass brothers on stage again for the first time in 10 years! It’s going to be a pretty special feeling playing all those songs again after so long.” Watch that video below.

Also confirmed: Supergrass play their first reunion show tonight at the Pilton Party tonight, which is a special event Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis puts on as a thank you to the people who worked the UK festival and residents of the surrounding area. The party had been listed as being headlined by Wolf Alice and “Mystery Guests,” with Eavis saying “I expect a lot of people will want to get a ticket on the gate after they’re announced. As always, it’s going to be a really super night.”
