Superchunk’s Mac McCaughan has released an acoustic Halloween-themed cover of “When The Evening Comes” by Bobby Steele’s post-Mistfits band The Undead. It’s not the first time a Superchunk-related project has covered something Misfits-related at this time of year. Listen below.
As mentioned, Superchunk are playing the stacked Ground Control Touring 15th anniversary show on December 2 at Webster Hall (all three rooms). Conor Oberst had to drop off, but the lineup still includes Kurt Vile, Waxahatchee, Parquet Courts, Rainer Maria, Torres, Titus Andronicus, Speedy Ortiz, Hop Along and more.
