Plow United/Ex Friends member Joel Tannenbaum’s punk collective The Rentiers have done another song, “Brooklyn’s Been Good To Me.” To quote Joel, “Every Rentiers studio session is a different animal, but this one was a really different animal — like maybe a marmoset or something — because I went down to Durham, NC to record with some friends who play or played in rad bands you haven’t heard of like Almost People, Pink Drinks and Red Collar.”
This song “and lots of others” will come out as a CD anthology called Bring Me the Finest World Map Shower Curtain in all the Land on Jigsaw Records in January, but we’re premiering a stream of it right now. Check it out:
The Rentiers on this recording are Joel Tannenbaum, Scotty Sandwich, Lauren Reece and Kyle Cox, with Jonny Clouson and J Kutchma.
