Roisin Murphy has released the second in her series of 12″ singles she’s making this year with producer Maurice Fulton. “Plaything” is as straight-up a house number as Roisin has released probably since Moloko (or at least “Let Me Know“) and it’s great to hear her back in full-on banger territory. The b-side is “Like,” which is a bit slinkier, with some nice live percussion. Like the first 12″, this one also sports great artwork from New York-based artist Bráulio Amado.
