Stream N8NOFACE & Planet B’s new split EP

N8NOFACE and Planet B (the latter being one of the many projects of Justin Pearson of The Locust, Deaf Club, Dead Cross, etc) both exist somewhere in the orbit between synth punk, hip hop, hardcore, and industrial, and neither can ever really be pinned down to one particular thing. They also both like to veer off into strange, off-kilter territory, so it’s a good fit that they’ve teamed up for a split EP, out this Friday (3/1) via Justin’s Three One G label (pre-order). Planet B’s contributions are both collaborations with Ms. BOAN, and one is a cover of “Cumbia Mundial” by Planet B member Luke Henshaw’s group Sonido de la Frontera.

Justin says, “This is a release that is perfectly in line with what Three One G was founded on, which is bringing interesting people together on a project. The label started as a product of its environment, in San Diego, where weird things are created. Everyone on this EP is weird as fuck, in a great way. I mean, if you aren’t weird, you may just be boring. So for me, having Planet B create something with N8NOFACE and MsBOAN is certainly embedded in the Three One G DNA.”

The EP isn’t officially out for two days, but a full stream premieres right here. Check it out:
