Iceland Airwaves holds its 2024 edition this weekend (November 7-9) at venues all over Reykjavik. (It’s always a good time.) This year’s lineup features nearly 100 acts, with an emphasis discovery and hometown talent, but has artists from all over the world, including Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, bar italia, Mandy Indiana, Lambrini Girls, cumgirl8, Magdalena Bay, Overmono, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Lynks, Mary in the Junkyard, Personal Trainer, The Vaccines, Wu-Lu, Charlotte Day Wilson, Lynks, Alice Longyu Gao, and more.
This year’s Icelandic lineup includes Hjálmar, Pétur Ben, Arnór Dan, Bear the Ant, Sóley, Spacestation, Inspector Spacetime, Sunna Margrét, FLOTT, Eythor Arnalds, Vampíra, Hjálmar, Davíðsson, K.óla, Supersport!, Klemens Hannigan (Hatari), GDRN, Úlfur Úlfur, and more. The daily schedules for Iceland Airwaves have also been announced, and if you can’t make it in person this year, like in 2023, VEEPs will be live streaming select sets from Friday and Saturday at the festival for free. Friday’s livestream shows include The Vaccines, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Lambrini Girls, and more at the Reykjavík Art Museum; Personal Trainer, Alice Longyu Gao, Úlfur Úlfur and more at Kolaport. Saturday livestreamed shows include Overmono, Minus, Bar Italia, Charlotte Day Wilson and more at the Art Museum; and Cumgirl8, Wu-Lu, Mandy Indiana and Inspector Spacetime at Kolaport.
