Chicago noise rockers Jar’d Loose are no more, but frontman Eddie Gobbo is now leading a new band, Something Is Waiting. Musically it’s got pretty similar reference points to Jar’d Loose – Jesus Lizard/Scratch Acid, Bleach/In Utero, etc. If you dig that stuff, you’re gonna find this band hits a sweet spot that’s pretty close to home. Their debut album The Something Is Waiting Band comes out this week (7/22) via The Path Less Traveled Records, and we’re premiering a stream below.
