Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band have quickly been rising as one of the brightest voices within the indie-country boom, they just released their great new album New Threats From the Soul, and now Ryan has told us about five of his favorite 1980s country albums.
His list includes albums by Gary Stewart, George Strait, Lyle Lovett, David Allan Coe, and one album that he calls a “10/10 perfect record,” Randy Travis‘ Storms of Life. Ryan had a lot of interesting stuff to say about each one, as well as his reason for choosing this topic, as you can see in the video below.
The Roadhouse Band are set to begin a tour in Louisville on August 6, and they’ll stay on the road through at least November. All upcoming dates are listed below.
