Speculation has been rife among Radiohead fans that the band is up to something for the 20th anniversary of OK Computer, as posters have appeared worldwide that appear to tie into the 1997 album. While Radiohead’s representatives told NME they had “no comment” about the posters, now there’s another teaser from Radiohead themselves, hinting that something is afoot. The band’s twitter and instagram accounts were updated with a video featuring a child’s voice reciting the lyrics to “Climbing Up The Walls,” while the words “Radiohead” “OK” and “REM” appear on an glitchy, old school programming console. Watch the video below.
A year ago today (5/1), Radiohead began to delete their internet presence, including the contents of their website, Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ accounts, leading up to the release of A Moon Shaped Pool.
Radiohead recently played Coachella and have shows coming up in June and July, including a show in Israel, which some artists have protested.
