PJ Harvey began her current European tour with a set at Primavera Sound in Barcelona on June 1, and played the festival’s Portugal edition a few days later on June 6. She’s now made the full Porto set available to stream. It features lots of songs from last year’s great I Inside the Old Year Dying, as well as a few songs off 2011’s Let England Shake, “The Desperate Kingdom of Love” off 2004’s Uh Huh Her, and some of her most beloved ’90s material, including “To Bring You My Love,” “50ft Queenie,” “Angelene,” “Dress,” and more. PJ paid tribute to Steve Albini at her Primavera Barcelona set; the festival also renamed a stage for him at its 2024 edition. PJ had also paid tribute to Albini, who she worked with on 1993’s Rid of Me, on social media.
After her European tour wraps up at the end of the month, PJ will head to North America in September for her first tour here in 7 years (she was, however, in Brooklyn in 2023 for an event featuring music, poetry, and conversation), including NYC shows at Terminal 5 on September 15 and 16.
