Piebald have kept the flame going playing shows each year since reuniting, but we haven’t had new music from them until now. They’ve announced their first new album in over 15 years, Tales For The Rages, due out June 12 via Iodine. It was written and recorded between 2019 and 2025, produced by in part by Jay Maas, and mastered by Jack Shirley. See the cover art and tracklist below.

The first single is the catchy, anthemic “Still on the Couch.” “Even when we are in our own homes, in the comfort of our supposedly personal surroundings, we are being fed propaganda to buy products and ideas that, we are told over and over again, will bring us happiness or freedom,” Travis Shettel says. “We don’t buy it!” Watch the video below.
Piebald support The Format in Boston later this month, on March 26 at Roadrunner. That’s their only scheduled show at the moment, but they have more tour dates to come; stay tuned.
