Following their 40th anniversary 4k restoration of Talking Heads‘ iconic concert film Stop Making Sense, which premiered last year, A24 is teasing a Stop Making Sense tribute album. It’ll feature “16 tracks from 16 artists,” and the first is Paramore, who are teasing a cover of “Burning Down the House.” Watch the teaser video, which plays with classic images and moments from Stop Making Sense, below, and stay tuned for more details.
For Paramore, this marks their return to social media after they wiped their accounts and their official site early in the year. Sources tell Variety that the move coincided with the end of the band’s 20-year deal with Atlantic Records, and that contrary to rumors, they’re not breaking up. They had also dropped off iHeartRadio’s January ALTer EGO fest, but are scheduled to be back on the road later this year supporting Taylor Swift in Europe.
