Outbreak Fest 2024 in videos: Have Heart, Basement, American Football, Thursday, Joyce Manor, Incendiary & more

The same weekend that Glastonbury was going down in the UK, the amazing UK hardcore punk (and more) festival Outbreak Fest went down in Manchester, and when Glastonbury co-organizer Emily Eavis said in an interview that “there aren’t a lot of new rock acts to choose from if I’m honest,” whoever runs the Outbreak Fest Twitter responded “yea sure.” And even if they hadn’t responded, their stacked 2024 lineup–which featured lots of hardcore but also plenty of rap, emo, indie rock, and more–would’ve spoken for itself. I’ve never been to Outbreak Fest, but I’ve watched a ton of Outbreak videos over the years, and it always looks like a wild time that’s filled with great, current, guitar-fueled rock music. The fest usually releases pro-shot, full-set videos, but for now, they posted a bunch of video clips throughout the weekend, and this year’s edition looked as amazing as ever.

They’ve got clips up of day two’s headlining sets from UK heroes Basement and reunited Massachusetts hardcore greats Have Heart (both of whom have members in Fiddlehead, who also played), day one headliner Action Bronson, and sets from Incendiary, Soccer Mommy, Joyce Manor, Fiddlehead, Angel Du$t, Balance and Composure, Ceremony, Magnitude, and more. American Football also posted a clip of their day three headlining set (with Mike Kinsella stage diving), and we’re sure more videos will be posted in the coming hours or days which is great because the lineup had so many other incredible artists like Touché Amoré, JPEGMAFIA, Flatbush Zombies, redveil, MAVI, Show Me the Body, Poison the Well, Chat Pile, Nothing, Mindforce, Hot Mulligan, Mannequin Pussy, The Hotelier, The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Harms Way, Gouge Away, Sweet Pill, Never Ending Game, End It, and more.

Touché Amoré’s Jeremy Bolm also joined Thursday on stage during their set for “Paris In Flames” and you can watch a clip of that below, along with a bunch of other clips we’ve found so far. Stay tuned for more.
