Oneohtrix Point Never has shared the first single from his upcoming album Again. “A Barely Lit Path” is the closing track to the album, an orchestral slow jam that mixes vocoder and electronics with beautiful string arrangements by conductor Robert Ames, performed by the NOMAD Ensemble.
The video for “A Barely Lit Path” was co-created by Freeka Tet and 0PN’s Daniel Lopatin, and stars a couple of crash test dummies whose vehicle undergoes some unusual procedures. It gets a little 2001: A Space Odyssey by the end and you can watch it below.
