Oasis fans got a little excited on Monday when the band’s official socials posted a short video clip of a house on a riverside with no accompanying text. Have Liam and Noel finally made up for the reunion almost everyone wants? Only they can say for sure, but probably not.
The video is an aerial shot of Sawmills Studios, where Oasis recorded much of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in August. A new reissue of the album seems the most likely answer, though Definitely Maybe saw reissues in 2014 for its 20th anniversary and 2019 for its 25th anniversary. Some redditors theorize this one might have the Monnow Valley Studios sessions for the album which ended up not being used. We shall see.
In more concrete Definitely Maybe news, Liam Gallagher will be playing the album in full on tour in the UK this summer with his solo band. Those dates kick off June 1 in Sheffield.
