Nourished by Time (aka Baltimore artist Marcus Brown) has announced the Catching Chickens EP, which will be his first release for XL Recordings and out March 22. Like last year’s Erotic Probiotic 2, Brown produced the record himself, and the title is a reference to the famous training scene in Rocky II that was also echoed in Creed.
The first single from the EP is the chill but funky “Hand on Me,” which comes with a video Nourished by Time directed himself with photography by Josh Renault. “The video is about being reminded that you’re an angel by other angels,” he says, “featuring a surrealist commentary on celebrity culture.”
